/ About  ·  What Larder is, and is not

A pantry, not a platform.

Larder is a small, Auckland-based managed-AI-services business. We help New Zealand owners get the busywork handled, on their accounts, with rules they can see written down. We are the New Zealand partner of AiBorz, which brings the deeper agentic and enterprise work behind us.

What we are

  • A managed service. We build it, run it, and write the monthly report. You read it and approve the next thing.
  • NZ small business and trades. Family law practices, suburban accountancies, design studios, building companies. Already capable, already busy.
  • Plainly said. No jargon, no hype, no slogans. The brief at the bottom of every page sets the rules.
  • The NZ partner of AiBorz. Deeper expertise sits behind us; the contract is with Larder.

What we are not

  • ×A platform. Nothing to log into. No dashboard sold as the product.
  • ×A workshop business. We don't sell training, certifications, or strategy decks.
  • ×A growth-hacker shop. No clever tricks. No marketing automation as an end in itself.
  • ×An offshore outsourcer. Auckland-based people doing the work, on your time zone.

Chris Duran

Larder is run by Chris Duran in Auckland. Background in technology delivery for owner-operated and partner-led firms: implementation, governance, and the unglamorous operational discipline that keeps systems trustworthy after the launch slide deck. Larder is the shape that work takes when it is offered to New Zealand small businesses on a monthly fee.

/ Common questions

Do you only work with New Zealand businesses?

Yes, for now. Larder is set up for New Zealand small business and trades, with terms, pricing, and timezones written for that. The wider international work is handled by our partner AiBorz, which we work with directly when a client has cross-border needs.

What is the relationship with AiBorz?

Larder is the New Zealand partner of AiBorz. AiBorz brings deep agentic and enterprise experience; Larder applies it to the realities of New Zealand small business and trades. Where a client has needs that span both markets, the two work together. The contract you sign is with Larder.

If Larder sounds like the right shape, the next thing is a thirty-minute conversation. We will read what you write and reply ourselves.
